The Beginning: Wherever You Go, There You Are
Wherever You Go, There You Are...
Hey! My name is Leilani Spring Fischbeck. Some people call me Leilani. Some people call me Spring. Call me anything but boring.

I am a health enthusiast with a passion for traveling the world.
I officially decided to combine the two anytime I can.
I have my Master's degree from Full Sail University in New Media Journalism where my obsession with health and travel took off. I became a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) aka Recreation Therapist from CSU East Bay, where I found a true passion for working with seniors.
The senior population became my favorite because of their life experiences and the stories they would share with me. If I wanted to have anything cool to say when I got older, I would have to start creating stories for myself. And for me, that meant getting out of my comfort bubble.

Health, wellness, and travel have always played a role in my life, one way or another. I wanted to travel and didn’t know how to make a living while traveling.
It was no coincidence that my best friend/grandma/aka “Oma” passed away at age 97 (a week before her 98th), and I got to put together the slide show of her adventures of traveling the world. This was my cue to prioritize exploring the world in this short lifetime. When I caught a #travelbug in the past, Oma would always tell me, “ I can never keep up with where you’re traveling to next!”, with a smile on her face.

I decided to take my passions for traveling, health journalism, and human connection and wrap them all up in a blog.
With these two philosophies learned through some really wise folks (mostly my favorite seniors), I am ready to go:
If you keep doing what you always do, you’ll keep getting what you’ve always gotten
&
Wherever you go, there you are.
SO LET'S GO!!!
